Sawah Besar Puskesmas Implements Green Building

The Central Jakarta Sawah Besar Sub-district Community Health Center (Puskesmas) has implemented a green building. 

It provides many benefits, especially for residents. We're very happy

"Besides being realized through the Reflection Park in the yard, the puskesmas' walls are also used to applicate a vertical garden," expressed Sawah Besar Sub-district Puskesmas Head, Ainun, Tuesday (4/23). 

It is implemented on a 30-square-meter land.

Green Building Concept in Jakarta Appreciated

"With the theme back to nature, the park is equipped by one thousand medicinal plants or called Toga," he said.

It is also completed with an artificial waterfall combined with natural stones to bring the effect of calm for visitors.

"It was just made in April," he told.

For vertical garden, it was made as a part of greening the puskesmas building utilizes a hydroponic system to facilitate maintenance.

"It can be realized by spending Rp 180 million," he exclaimed.

One of locals, Suhardi welcomed it positively.

"It provides many benefits, especially for residents. We're very happy," he said.
